Parent(s) or Guardian of a student seeking admission in K8 School must declare the below declaration and agree to all the conditions mentioned therein. Parent(s) or Guardian is required to declare and agree to the same electronically during the process of admission of the student in K8 School. After declaration and accepting the terms, the contents of the same will also be emailed to the registered email address provided by a parent or guardian to K8 School.

I, the undersigned, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

• 1. That I am the lawful parent / guardian of my child who is applying for admission in K8 School and with my assistance, representation, support, will and permission. I shall abide by all the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of K8 School. I shall provide correct, authentic and genuine details, information, documents or records of my child and myself and in case if, at any point of time, such details, information, documents or records found to be false, incorrect, misrepresented or fake then K8 School shall have all the right and authority to take any decision including but not limited to suspension or cancellation of admission of my child or forfeit any amount paid to K8 School on its sole discretion for which neither my child nor me will object or raise any dispute against such decision of K8 School.
• 2. That I have read and understood all the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of K8 School and have been read over to my child in vernacular (or the language that he understands) which my child and I shall abide by the same.
• 3. That my child fulfils all the eligibility regarding age limit, education qualification etc. prescribed by K8 School for admission.
• 4. That I understand and agree that the admission or any other part of my child’s grade/course/program shall be considered incomplete and invalid unless the applicable fee for those grades/courses/programs or parts thereof have been successfully paid to K8 School and confirmation of the same from K8 School shared to me.
• 5. That I also understand and agree that I may be asked to provide additional information, proof, records, material including but not limited to academic credentials, coursework, and other relevant information in support of my child’s eligibility/candidature at K8 School and if such information, proof, records, material provided by me is incomplete, inconsistent or with discrepancies or does not fulfil the requirements of K8 School, then the admission or online class can be suspended until providing all such information, proof, records, materials and will be cancelled if not supplied within the prescribed time.
• 6. That even after my child has completed the course/program from K8 School and any information, records, material provided by me or my child to any education institutions, authorities or anywhere else is found to be in conflict with or different from the information submitted to K8 School at any point of time, K8 School has the right to take any action against me that they think appropriate including but not limited to withdrawing my child’s qualifications and notifying and informing the concerned institution and authorities or publishing public notice against me and my child. Also that such actions of K8 School which may have adverse effect on my child or me including academic , professional, emotional, social or in any manner whatsoever shall be completely my own responsibility.
• 7. That I completely understand and agree that all the information relevant to the successful completion of my child’s grade/course/program is provided on the collaterals of K8 School from time to time and that it shall be my responsibility to read all the rules, regulations, policies, procedures and all other information provided by K8 School on its collaterals, platforms, systems and follow all of them in its entirety. That I will check my emails from K8 School on time and that it is my responsibility to stay informed about the contents of the email and the information mentioned therein, and I completely understand that K8 School will be using emails as the only official mode of communication with me.
• 8. That it is my responsibility to satisfy all academic and other requirements including but not limited to minimum attendance of 60% individually across each subject in an academic year, credit-hour completion, devotion of relevant and prescribed time period to particular grade/course/program, homework, assignments, projects, assessments related to the successful completion of my child’s academic grades/programs/courses.
• 9. That I undertake full responsibility of the decision to admit my child in K8 School and in no case whatsoever will object the learning process and procedure of K8 School or complaint about any unjustified impact of classes upon my child.
• 10. That I understand and agree that the purpose of K8 School is to provide and nourish the knowledge of a student and does not restrain any student to pursue education from any other institution or school. I also agree that I shall not challenge or raise any dispute against the recognition, affiliation etc. of K8 School and also shall not challenge the studies or certification of K8 School granted to my child in any circumstances even if the same will not be recognised or accepted by any other institution, school, entity or organisation.
• 11. Once the parent/guardian of the child seeking admission has applied for admission of a particular child and paid the Admission Fee, the Admission Fee is refundable only in case of one (or both) of the two conditions below:

• The child isn’t eligible for admission to the particular grade due to reasons such as age criteria, location etc. whatsoever, and the parent does not want to/or is incapable of provide(ing) additional documentation for supporting the child’s eligibility for admission.

  The child isn’t eligible for admission to the particular grade due to reasons such as age criteria, location etc. whatsoever, and the parent does not want the child to take an ‘Evaluation Test’.

  In either/both of the cases above, the Admission Fee will be refundable only if the parent has dropped an email at [email protected] within 30 days of paying the Admission Fee clearly stating ‘I want an Admission Fee refund’ and K8 School has confirmed on email within the same timeframe of 30 days, that the Admission Fee will be refunded.

  No Admission Fee will be refunded under any circumstances after the lapse of 30 days of payment of Admission Fee.

  No Admission Fee will be refunded under any circumstances once K8 School has issued the Confirmation of Admission of a particular child.

  K8 School has the right and discretion to refuse admission to any child and/or refund the Admission Fee.

  All Admission Fee refunds for transactions within India will be processed after the deduction of Indian Rupees 500 as the transaction charges. In case of Admission Fee deposits from Bank Accounts outside of India, the Admission Fee will be non-refundable under all circumstances.

  That I understand and agree that Admission Fee and Annual Fee paid by me for my child’s admission shall not be refundable in any circumstances (except under the cases mentioned in Admission Fee refund policy). I understand that in case if I have opted for Quarterly Payment Plan, I will not be eligible for any refunds of Admission Fee, Annual Fee or Tuition Fee. It is only in case if I have chosen One-Time Payment Plan that I may be eligible for a fee refund (and that too only for Tuition Fee or part thereof). The entire Tuition Fee will be refunded only when a student (or his parent/guardian on behalf of student) opted for a one-time payment plan subject to a condition that parents/guardians of a student will make a formal written request through email to [email protected] within 24 hours of making payment of Tuition Fee, which period is inclusive of a holiday or any non-working day. After elapsing of 24 hours of making payment of Tuition Fee while opting one-time payment plan, the following deduction shall be applicable to get the refund of Tuition Fee:

  The refund/withdrawal must be initiated within the time frame. Calendar Days are calculated on a 24-hour basis, irrespective of the time zone.

  All Tuition Fee refunds for transactions within India will be processed after the additional deduction of Indian Rupees 500 as the transaction charges. In case of Tuition Fee deposits from Bank Accounts outside of India, the Tuition Fee will be non-refundable under all circumstances.

• 12. That I agree that I will use all the material, content, and other intellectual property of K8 School only for the purpose to provide classes to my child and no part of it shall be used to provide any unwarranted benefit or use, whether commercial or non-commercial, to any other individual and/or organisation.
• 13. That no part of the coursework, books, materials etcetera provided by K8 School shall be reproduce, copy, circulate, distribute or misuse in any way whatsoever, which may include, to derive any commercial or non-commercial benefit out of it, for my gain or for gain of any other individual and/or organisation.
• 14. That I will always monitor that all assignments, homework and coursework which my child will submit to K8 School or teachers shall be original work of my child and no part of it will be copied from any source whatsoever and take full responsibility about the same.
• 15. That I shall not question or ask for the replacement of the assigned teacher for unreasonable and discriminatory reasons such as those related to race, gender, religion, orientation, or any other academic/non-academic reasons, whatsoever.
• 16. That my child shall not be provided with unwarranted help or support by me or any other individual in completing the assignments, homework, assessments and coursework unless permitted by K8 School.
• 17. That my child or I or any other individual from my side shall not misbehave (or behave inappropriately in any way that is not fit for the class environment) in any way whatsoever with K8 School, teachers or staff or with any of the colleagues, classmates, parents or any individuals.
• 18. That I understand and agree that in case of any inappropriate action or misbehaviour on part of my child or myself or any of my family members, friends, associates with any K8 School members, its teachers or staff or representative or any other student (such actions include but not limited to aggressive behaviour, threat, use of inappropriate language, disturbances inside the classroom, attempt to directly or indirectly malign the reputation and brand name of K8 School through raising inappropriate and invalid complaints, attempt to influence any members, associates of K8 School community) through verbal, oral or any other kind of communication, whether individually or through groups, on any forum, or any other action with direct or indirect malafide consequences, the admission of my child will be cancelled with immediate effect without any prior intimation or notice and possible legal actions will be initiated against my child, myself and/or any other person, entity, organisation, individual or any third party for such actions or misbehaviour. That I completely agree that I will neither create, nor join or participate in, or support/encourage the creation of any groups, associations, committees of parents including any other parents, students, members, associates or any individuals directly or indirectly related to K8 School.
• 19. That I completely understand and agree that all the classes, lectures etc. during the term of the entire academic year may be recorded and all such recordings will be kept by K8 School and becomes the properties of K8 School which may be used by K8 School for purposes of research, training, marketing, etc. without any consent from me.
• 20. That It is my responsibility to regularly check the website of K8 School for any upcoming notification or any terms and conditions.
• 21. That I shall abide by my above declaration and I shall not raise any dispute in future with regard to the same.
• 22. That I understand and agree that the present declaration or the policy, rules, regulations or the terms and conditions of K8 School is subject to changes or amendments as required by K8 School on its sole discretion which will be intimated on the website of K8 School or through email and my child and I shall abide by the same upon acceptance.
• 23. That I agree and understand that in the absence of not satisfying any of my above declarations, K8 School reserves its right to take appropriate action against me or my child or any responsible individual(s) and such action includes but is not limited to suspension of my child from K8 School for a given period, issuing instructions to repeat the grade, cancellation of the admission of my child and debarring him from attending K8 School, considering the academic coursework of my child inappropriate or unsatisfactory, detaining my child in the same grade, initiating legal action or any other actions as deemed appropriate by the authorities of K8 School I hereby declare that all statements made above are true, complete and correct to the best of my own knowledge and belief. I understand that in the event of any information being found suppressed/false or incorrect or ineligibility been detected at the time or after the admission, the admission of my child is liable to be cancelled.

And that in the absence of not satisfying any of the above in totality, K8 School reserves the right to take appropriate action against me (and my child) or whoever the responsible individual(s) is/are and such action includes but is not limited to suspension of my child from K8 School.
